Hailing from San Francisco, Rosin Coven's eight musicians blend voices, strings, vibraphone, drums and brass to create their own style of "cinematic chamber cabaret." They present an irreverent yet elegant balance between musicianship, poise, theatricality and humor, weaving seamlessly amongst fiery tangos, raucous waltzes, swingin jazz, sultry ballads, darkened dirges, and most everything in between. With a seldom-offered opportunity, Rosin Coven is returning to the Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury, Michigan for the second year in a row. They will perform daily in Sherwood Forest, the heart of the Festival, acting as a “house band” for the art-filled, wooded wonderland. First performance on Thursday June 26th, and continue through the four days, two sets per day on Friday and Saturday, pushing their circus-inspired revelry late into the night. They will wrap up on Sunday with a mid-day set to bring tired but elated festival-goers back to life! http://rosincoven.com http://www.electricforestfestival.com
